A dark, exciting space is created when Svenska jack electrifies poetry. Industrial ambient and colliding beats meet harsh words and sharp whispers. Text is sent through crackles, noise, and mist. The words become sounds.

Behind the project Svenska jack stands spoken word poet Matiss Silins, who wanted to create background noises for his poems, but the instruments took over. The poetry is still there, but now lurking in the corners when electroacoustic sound creation is mixed with wild synths and unruly filters.

The soundscapes are brutal and raw, this truly is ”useless music for minor masses” as described by the artist. Svenska jack serves a gnarly blend of industrial echo, harsh sound & glitchy noises.
